The Environmental Design and Compliance Center at ATEP (EDCC) Offers education in the design and implementation of environmentally friendly and sustainable architecture, products and manufacturing processes. It will also provide education programs to assist business with regulatory compliance to new and existing state and federal and international standards.
The EDCC at ATEP will provide training in the following energy efficiency jobs categories:
- Green generalist technicians
- Process engineers
- Regulatory compliance consultants
- Building controls systems technicians
- Building operators or building engineers
- Building performance or retrofitting specialists
- Compliance analyst or energy regulation specialists
- Energy auditors or home energy raters
- HVAC mechanics, technicians or installers
- Project managers for construction or design work
- Resource conservation or energy efficiency managers
